General Information
How do I book a wedding or event at Yandina Station?
To secure your wedding date, you must confirm in writing via email and pay a non-refundable deposit of $4,500 within 14 days of making your booking.
Can I change my wedding date after booking?
Yes, your deposit is transferable to another available date if you notify us at least three months before your wedding.
What are the venue’s operating hours?
Wedding & events can start anytime from XXX and must conclude by 10:30 PM, and all guests must vacate the venue by 11:00 PM.
What is the minimum guest requirement for weddings?
Friday to Sunday (March to May & August to October) – 70 adults
Friday to Sunday (Other months) – 60 adults
Monday to Thursday weddings – 40 adults
Elopements – 20 adults
Payments & Cancellations
When is the final payment due?
Full payment is due 14 business days before your wedding.
What happens if I need to cancel my wedding/event?
More than 3 months before the wedding/event – Your $4,500 deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date.
1–3 months before the wedding – Your deposit is not transferable or refundable, and 25% of the total wedding/event cost is charged.
Less than 1 month before the wedding/event – Your deposit is not transferable or refundable, and 50% of the total wedding cost is charged.
Venue & Ceremony (and corporate events)
Can we bring pets to the wedding/event?
Some pets may be allowed with prior approval, but strict rules apply since Yandina Station is a working cattle property. Accommodation is not pet-friendly.
Can we have confetti, candles, or fireworks?
Confetti is not permitted (biodegradable or artificial).
Petals and bubbles are allowed.
Naked flames are not permitted (candles must be enclosed in glass).
Fireworks and sparklers are strictly prohibited.
Can we take photos in the paddocks?
No, entry into paddocks past the fence line is not allowed. However, you can use the 14 acres of manicured lawns, country roads, and rustic areas.
Is there power at the ceremony locations?
Yes, all designated function spaces have power access. Most celebrants and musicians use battery-powered equipment, but power points are available within 5 meters of the Dairy.
Accommodation
What accommodation is available on-site?
Yandina Station offers three luxury cottages,
accommodating up to 12 guests. The total cost for two nights is $2,500.
We have onsite cabins in construction.

Can we camp at Yandina Station?
No, camping is strictly prohibited.

Food & Beverages
Can we bring our own food or drinks?
No, external food and drinks are not allowed, except for wedding cakes.
Do you offer food tastings?
No, Yandina Station does not offer food tastings.
What options are available for children’s meals?
A children’s menu is available, with meals priced at 50% of the adult menu for kids under 12. Teenagers (12–17) receive adult meals but cannot be served alcohol.
Can you cater to dietary requirements?
Yes, special meals can be arranged with at least 14 days’ notice.
Can we set up a bar tab?
Yes, bar tabs or cash bar options are available. Drinks prices are fixed 14 days before your wedding.
What are the alcohol service hours?
Yandina Station is fully licensed from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM. RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) laws apply.
Music & Entertainment
Can we have a live band or DJ?
Yes, but music must not exceed 85 dB, and must stop by 10:30 PM. Management has final approval over all entertainment.
Can we use a PA system?
A PA system with a roaming mic & iPod connectivity is available for hire at $165.
Can photographers and videographers use drones?
Yes, but they must comply with CASA regulations and keep within designated areas.
Transport & Parking
How many car spaces are available?
There are 25 parking spaces, including a drop-off zone for bridal cars and suppliers.
Can we arrange buses for guests?
Yes, buses are recommended for large groups. Our preferred transport providers are:

Additional Services & Policies
Can we hire external suppliers for decorations, photography, etc.?
Yes, but you are responsible for any additional supplier fees or cancellation charges. External suppliers must remove items by 10 AM the next day unless otherwise agreed.
What if we need to extend our event time?
A surcharge of $250 per hour applies for events exceeding 7 hours. On public holidays, the surcharge is $750 per hour.
What if I forget to collect my wedding items after the event?
All personal items must be collected on the night of the wedding. Items left behind will be disposed of after 7 days unless arranged in advance.
Will Yandina Station use photos or videos from our wedding for marketing?
Yandina Station reserves the right to use event images or videos for marketing purposes.
What happens if something gets damaged?
You are liable for any damage to the venue, including excessive mess or lawn damage. A minimum $250 cleaning/damage fee applies if extra repairs or rubbish removal are required.
