Cancellation Policy

Yandina Station cancellation policy requires any cancellation / rebooking / rescheduling requests to be made in writing.

At Yandina Station, our on-site cottages are exclusively reserved for wedding and event guests up to four months prior to the event date. After this time, any unbooked accommodation may be released to the public for general bookings.

To ensure fairness and maintain the exclusive experience our guests expect, we have a clear cancellation policy in place:

Wedding Cottage Block Booking Policy

  • The only way to cancel cottages within a block is to cancel the entire block booking, which must occur more than six (6) months prior to the wedding date.

General Bookings

  • General accommodation bookings (not linked to a Yandina Station event) are eligible for:
    • Full refund if cancelled more than 90 days prior to check-in.
    • 50% refund if cancelled 15–90 days prior to check-in.
    • No refund for cancellations within 14 days of check-in.
    • No refund for no-shows or early check-outs.
  • Changes to guest names or details can be made free of charge, pending approval and availability.
  • All cancellation or rebooking requests must be made in writing.

Date Changes

  • For any booking, date changes requested more than 30 days before check-in may be granted subject to availability and an administrative fee.
  • Changes requested within 30 days are treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

Force Majeure

  • Cancellations due to weather, travel disruptions, or personal circumstances remain subject to the above terms. We recommend guests secure appropriate travel insurance to protect their booking against unforeseen events.
